Methodology and vocabulary :
Flux Vision Tourisme is an innovative solution developed by Orange and co-constructed with the ADN Tourisme network and deployed in the department by the Tarn et Garonne Tourist Development Agency for the Tourist Offices. The system is centred on the production of mobility indicators based on an analysis of people's movements via the mobile network.
Definition of a tourist :
A person who is neither a residentnor usually present in the observation zone (the perimeter des Causses & Gorges de l'Aveyron), which is not its area of residence and has spent at least one night in the area. .
Definition of a day-tripper :
Person present for more than 2 hours in the area studied who did not spend the night before or on the evening of the day studied.
